Javier Bandin, CAMACC’s new Safety Supervisor

What do you do with an Installation and Service Technician who always – 100% of the time – demonstrates safety-related best practice in his own work, and mentors other employees in a positive safety culture?

MC-javier-bandin-1You make “safety” officially part of his job description, of course!

That’s what we’ve done with Javier Bandin, an Installation and Service Technician working in CAMACC’s Vancouver office. In addition to his field tech work, Javier is also taking up duties as our new Safety Supervisor in the Lower Mainland.

“Javier is a really nice guy, on top of being a talented technician,” says Hartley Woloshuk, CAMACC’s Operations Manager for BC. “Not only is his work top notch, but he has an exemplary safety record – he really lives the CAMACC values and safety culture.”

Originally from Peru, Javier has worked as a technician at CAMACC Systems for over seven years. He’s known for documenting the site work he does with hundreds of photos and detailed paperwork. That’s critical to getting the job done right, the first time, and for any future service work that might be required.

“Javier is a leader and mentor in CAMACC’s values and safety culture,” says Ben Kember, CAMACC’s National Safety Coordinator. “In his new role, Javier will visit CAMACC work sites to conduct ‘Safety Observations,’  a formal process that ensures a consistent, best-of-breed approach to safety across North America.”

Safety has long been a priority for CAMACC Systems, which relies on staff mentoring staff and sub-contractors as a way of effectively transmitting best practice in a team environment.

We’re thrilled to have Javier in his new, expanded role, on our team!
