Using this application, you can expand the storage capacity of a typical DVR or series of DVR's to an unlimited capacity. When setting up "network attached" Video storage devices from within the settings tab on the DVR/s, you select "network device," enter the IP or DNS name of the PC running this software and it will automatically connect and utilize its storage drive/s. Safeguards of course are built into the VIGIL DVR server application in the unlikely even of a network video storage device failure.
