IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL VIGIL
BRAND DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER CUSTOMERS
In 2007 the Energy Policy Act was signed into law,
changing the effective dates of daylight saving time (DST)
in the United States and Canada. Beginning in 2007, DST
will start three weeks earlier (2:00 AM on the second
Sunday in March) and will end one week later (2:00 AM on
the first Sunday in November) than in previous years.
The VIGIL DVR uses an internal time clock which is pre
programmed to the old DST time. This time/date will no
longer be accurate and a patch (file) will need to be
applied.
CAMACC is committed to helping customers make the
transition to the new DST schedule as seamless as possible
and has created the necessary utilities to correct this
issue. We have posted a file and instructions on our
corporate web site at the following link (Download
DST Fix) which will need to be downloaded. It can then
be applied with a few simple mouse clicks.
The requirements for the DST system update are beyond the
control of CAMACC. If the procedure proves too difficult,
CAMACC will gladly dispatch a technical support member to
site, as such, the cost of this service will be invoiced.

and as a zipped file for portability use. Please
refer to the instructions in PDF format.
